Yard workin' it

It was a really nice day on Saturday so we finally got outside to begin to tackle the garden. Char helped show me what things I could cut off (winter dead growth) and now the yard is looking a lot better! We raked, pulled, trimmed, fertilized and seeded. Then we had a pretty smokey campfire to burn all the twigs from the backyard. It's great having all the tree cover/shade in the summer---but it sure makes for a mess in the spring.
